Sean Ronan

I am a mixed-media digital artist creating interactive narrative, virtual reality, and real-time video projection installations. For more than a decade, I directed creative projects at Hammer & Tong, which I co-founded in 2014.I draw my inspirations from history, human migration, natural beauty, deep emotions, long moments. I make things because I feel they must be made.As of 2026, I am prototyping Wheel of TIme, the next entry in my ongoing body of work on Chinese-Canadian migration and conceptualizing (dis)place, my first work engaging with my own Irish-Canadian diasporic lived experience.
